How running without your dog can influence your training

The combination of perfect running conditions (warm but cloudy, not so many people on trails) and a bored puppy home alone (as you probably know dogs are not welcome in polish Tatra National Park) made me do a pretty long and surely fast alpine run! Whenever I slowed down I had a vision before my eyes that my little doggie throws a tantrum and destroys the couch out of boredom. Or I’m too long gone and she’s hungry but the only thing she found to chew was a bottle of bleach so now she’s in agony! The best scenario I could have think of was that she misses me so much she’s howling the whole time I’m gone and I would only have to deal with delighted neighbors.

The possibilities of what could go wrong and result in one white pup dead were endless! As I came back after more or less two hours, I opened up the door.. and woke her up..
