Finally I was able to pull this off! I managed not only to arrange 2 weeks without my presence being necessary in the city but also convinced myself that I will get things done while being in the mountains. I was wondering if that was possible for quite some time, now that am I able to work remotely. The answer is… it depends. The projects that I’m currently involved with need me to be creative and consistent, so I thought that if I’m supposed to deliver those qualities, location shouldn’t be an obstacle. To be fair, it’s not. Fighting my inner sloth is… 😉 I have to admit that sitting in front of a computer after a marvelous sporty morning is a challenge. But definitely not a bigger one than it always is!
I’m having one of this ‘winning at life’ moments, almost crying out of joy with my mouth full of local cheese, so if this is any consolation – I’m sure that I’ll gain a lot of weight from all this fresh food I can’t stop devouring and will look even more ridiculous with a sunburned face thanks to this amazing weather.
I hope we can all agree that there are pros and cons to every situation. Even if it’s very hard to find downsides of a long stay in the Dolomites, I promise I’ll keep looking.
